Log onto www.smartstreet.com
In the upper left hand corner, select “ Pay Assessments”
Select whether you wish to do a one time payment or set it up to be a monthly reoccurring draft/payment.
Create a login ( an email as they will send a confirmation to your email of your transaction(s) )
Create your own password
Select which type you would like to make a payment,
E-check will draft from your primary checking account
Credit Card, will accept all credit cards except for VISA
( credit card companies charge a $5.00 processing fee similar to those of the ATMs)
Visa is not accepted, due to a lapse in agreement with the bank. Can use the E-check as an alternative.)
NOTE: when entering information thru the screens please draw attention to the payment schedule screen (for those entering reoccurring payments)
Should any banking information or rate changes occur this is where you will need to make related edits to amounts or banking data.
There are a couple screens there after.
Tips- when setting up your information, in the field where you are to enter the association name. It works best when entering the first three letters of your homeowner association and clicking the find button. It will pull up a list of associations where you can select the one that is of your community.
Please note, you are not making your payment to Property Management People or PMP.
Payments are to be made out to , submitted to the homeowner association/ community name.
Final Notes:
Reoccurring payments are good for only 12 months. When you near that time, you can enter into the system as you were setting it up for the first time. When you get to the payment schedule screen, at the bottom there is a drag down bar that allows you to “ extend the period”
Should you prefer to change any banking information, for ex. From a credit card to a checking account or different card. You enter the same way as if you were going to set up payments on smartstreet. And edit that information.
